Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an NGAA account or using the NGAA vehicle-access platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

NGAA provides a digital vehicle-registration and gate-access system for schools, hospitals, universities, and other organisations ("Facilities"). The Service includes:

  • Issuance of a unique QR credential for each registered vehicle.
  • Gate entry/exit logging by authorised security personnel ("Gatemen").
  • A dashboard for Facility Heads of Security to manage access.
  • A portal for vehicle owners to view their history and credentials.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate, current information during registration.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
  • One account may register multiple vehicles across multiple Facilities.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting your Facility's Head of Security.

4. QR Credential

  • Each vehicle receives one QR code that never expires and never changes.
  • The QR is personal to the vehicle it was issued for; sharing or transferring it to another vehicle is prohibited.
  • NGAA is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from a lost, photographed, or duplicated QR.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Forge, tamper with, or attempt to reverse-engineer QR credentials.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Interfere with gate operations or security personnel.

6. Facility Rules

Each Facility may impose its own access policies (e.g. restricted hours, visitor approval). Compliance with Facility rules is a condition of using the Service at that location.

7. Availability & Changes

The Service is provided "as is." NGAA may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure or Force Majeure events.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NGAA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed UGX 100,000.

9. Termination

NGAA or a Facility may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or applicable security policy. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Kampala.
